Hotel Historic - Girona

This charming spot in Girona lets you dive into its culinary wonders-try Brots De Vi for fabulous local wines or Llevataps for tasty tapas. One night wasn't enough to soak in the creative charm throughout the restored hotel, from the fine art on the doors to the modern elegance of the sliding bathroom door.

Despite the artful ambiance, the room had a slight musty smell at first, and the mini fridge turned off when staff removed our key card. It's a historic place, though, so it has its quirks that add character!

We didn't have time, so stayed here only for 2 nights, nevertheless everything was lovely. The breakfast was fresh and reasonable with fresh orange juice and fruits, you will not be disappointed. The location was absolutely perfect, short walk to cathedral & good restaurants, the centre of the old town and the historic center and close to an art gallery we wanted to see.

It has great location for visiting a Roman Catholic church.

Keep in mind that the mini fridge turns off when your key card is removed, so make sure it stays in place.

Stylish room with fast wi-fi.

We really enjoyed exploring the charming Old City with its narrow streets and fine landmarks right at our doorstep. The kids loved the family apartment, especially the spacious kitchen and the cool jacuzzi bath after a day of wandering. Staying with my niece made it even more fun!

My children wanted more mirrors in the apartment.

Nestled in charming surroundings, the double room featured a cozy ambiance and a comfortable bed. The varied breakfast, with local fruits, proved to be a good start each day. The staff's lack of professionalism was disheartening-after dealing with a leak in the room, the response was far from accommodating, and an unpleasant encounter further dampened the experience.

Comfortable Room but Service Could Improve

Interactions with staff felt rushed, and relying on limited WiFi was frustrating. A tip , explore local dining options instead of trying breakfast at the hotel to enjoy Girona's culinary scene.

Wow! Our stay was amazing, especially the beautiful shower in our room and the lovely roof terrace with stunning views. Just wish the checkout process had been smoother.

Very nice location right in the heart of the old town and near the fine cathedral! The owners were super friendly and really attentive to our needs. Cleanliness was great!

I had a really enjoyable stay at Hotel Historic in Girona. the breakfast was lovely and there were plenty of goodies to choose from. the rooms were spotlessly clean and the air conditioning was so quiet, it was really relaxing. the staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. the hotel is situated in a wonderful location, within walking distance from a cathedral and an art gallery, and only a short 10-minute walk to downtown.
